Dan Carter takes centre frame for Nikon

Dan Carter has agreed to become a brand ambassador for Nikon Cameras in New Zealand.

In doing so, Carter has revealed to New Zealanders a little known side of his personality off the field of play - his enthusiasm for photography.    

“It’s a great outlet for my creativity and another way to relax and unwind away from the pressures of the sports field,” says Dan.

“I’ve been using Nikon cameras for a while so I thought this was a great opportunity to work with and learn from the Nikon team. There are very few brands I’d choose to be involved with and Nikon is at the top of that short list. I’m hoping to develop a new set of skills through my photography.”

Ben Wiki, New Zealand Marketing Manager for Nikon, said he was delighted when Dan agreed to the role. “We’re thrilled to align our high performance brand with a high performance athlete of Dan’s calibre. His illustrious sporting career has strong parallels with the performance history of Nikon and we’re very pleased that Dan uses our camera equipment by choice.”
